Deer farming is at the heart of Hjortegården. The farm shop sells venison and cured meat products directly from the producer, including venison sausages and salami, alongside homemade flatbread.
Open farm and visitor garden
Hjortegården also has a visitor garden with seating areas overlooking the deer. On selected open days, visitors can explore the garden and watch the deer being fed. Coffee, cold drinks and ice cream are also available on these days.
Planning your visit
The farm is located at Borgeveien 240 in Stokke, near Borgeskogen, with access from the E18 via the Borge junction. Parking is available on site.
The farm and garden are open to visitors on selected announced dates. Visits outside these dates must be arranged in advance. Check current opening information and farm shop access before travelling.
