Grytebakke Gård – Venues

Grytebakke Farm in Sande offers event spaces in a former barn that has been thoughtfully converted for gatherings. It is a place for weddings, confirmations, anniversaries, memorial gatherings and company celebrations, with two separate rooms and the farm grounds just outside.

Dinner in Salen, dancing at Trevet
Salen is on the ground floor and accommodates up to 90 guests. It has tables and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen and an adjoining garden room with seating overlooking the farmyard. Upstairs, Trevet accommodates around 40 people. It has its own entrance, balcony and preparation kitchen, and is often used for parties and dancing after dinner. You can hire the rooms separately or together. For larger celebrations, one option is to begin with dinner in Salen before moving upstairs for the evening.

Food and table settings your way
Grytebakke Farm works with Gran Søndre for event catering, but you are also welcome to arrange your own food. The hosts can help organise waiting staff, drinks and table settings. Tableware, glasses and serving equipment are available, with tablecloths and napkins offered for hire. Both event rooms have a sound system, microphone and projector.

A celebration on the farm
Guests can enjoy the park and visit the farm animals outside the event spaces. Children must be accompanied by adults when visiting the animals.
Grytebakke also welcomes companies for meetings, courses and team-building days, which can be combined with farm activities or challenges in Superskogen.

Opening hours and bookings
The event spaces are available by arrangement. Viewings of the rooms and grounds can be booked on weekdays between 8 am and 3 pm.
