Gamle Eidsfos Kro is located in the former workers’ homes in Bråtagata, in the heart of historic Eidsfoss. The restaurant serves homemade food for lunch and dinner, as well as light dishes, pizza and desserts.
The restaurant consists of several rooms that were once homes for workers at Eidsfos Ironworks. The timber walls and original rooms have been preserved, with views towards the garden and the area by Lake Eikeren. During the summer, outdoor seating is available in the garden.
Private events and catering
Gamle Eidsfos Kro hosts events including christenings, birthdays, confirmations, memorial gatherings and meetings. Private events can also be arranged outside regular opening hours, subject to availability. Special menus for groups and catering are available.
