Big Ben Pub

Big Ben is located on Tønsberg Torv and has been a pub here since 1991. The venue has its own kitchen serving Italian-style pizza and small dishes, while a large outdoor seating area opens onto the square during summer.

The dining area has around 30 seats, and tables can be reserved by phone. The menu varies, so check Big Ben’s website for the current selection and prices.

Live music and DJs at weekends
Big Ben regularly hosts live music, troubadour performances and DJ nights at weekends. The programme changes throughout the year, with upcoming events published on an ongoing basis.

Historic surroundings on Tønsberg Torv
Big Ben is located in the building with the old fire-hose tower on Tønsberg Torv. The building previously housed both a fire station and a police station and was built on the ruins of St Mary’s Church towards the end of the 19th century. The old prison cells have been preserved and are now used as toilets.

Groups and private events
Big Ben welcomes groups and private parties of around 10 to 30 people. Enquiries about private events and table reservations can be made directly to the pub by phone or email.
