Aspargesgården

Aspargesgården is set in the countryside near Viksfjord in Tjodalyng. Its converted barn and former cowshed provide spaces for weddings, confirmations, anniversaries and company celebrations. The hosts can help you plan your event, whether you prefer to organise much of it yourself or leave the arrangements to others.

Weddings and celebrations in the barn
The hayloft in the barn, dating from 1906, has high ceilings, strings of lights and seating for around 100 guests. It can also be arranged for smaller celebrations of approximately 45 people. Facilities include a stage, dance floor, sound system and projector. The former cowshed seats up to 68 guests at long, built-in tables. Original wrought-iron windows and historic details remain, while the old stable has been converted into a lounge with a bar, stage and dance floor.

Food and personal touches
The cowshed has a fully equipped professional kitchen, and Aspargesgården can put you in touch with chefs and serving staff. You may also bring your own chefs for an additional deposit and arrange your own drinks. Tableware, tablecloths and a selection of decorations are available on site. In the garden, an English-style gazebo provides a setting for wedding ceremonies and photographs.

Courses and smaller gatherings
The restored Bryggerhuset accommodates smaller groups of up to 20 people for activities such as cooking classes, meetings and team building. It also offers accommodation for six guests in three double bedrooms, primarily in connection with events held at the farm.
Aspargesgården also hosts concerts, markets and themed events on selected dates.

Opening hours and bookings
Aspargesgården welcomes weddings, private celebrations, courses and groups by arrangement. It does not have regular opening hours for walk-in dining.
