From Folsom Prison Blues to The Highwaymen
The story began in Gausdal in 2012, when a group of young musicians connected through the song "Folsom Prison Blues". Their shared fascination with Johnny Cash led to the formation of Get Rhythm, a band that has since performed more than 100 concerts across Norway. On Friday 12 February 2027, the band makes its first appearance at Nøtterøy Cultural Centre with "The Best of Johnny Cash".
The concert explores Cash's musical career, from his early recordings with The Tennessee Two to his years with The Highwaymen and the reflective songs of his later life.

Timeless Classics and Stories
"Ring of Fire", "I Walk the Line" and "Folsom Prison Blues" are among the songs featured in the performance. With deep baritone vocals, a tight-knit band and stories from Johnny Cash's remarkable life, Get Rhythm takes the audience on a musical journey through country, rockabilly and atmospheric ballads.
