Sukkertoppen hvilehjem – lørdag 23.januar kl.15.00

Welcome to “Sukkertoppen hvilehjem”, where you'll be well looked after. Enjoy sugar in your coffee, a house orchestra, traditional Norwegian meals and helpful carers. It's all included in the standard package. But behind the friendly facade, something far less welcoming awaits.

A retirement home unlike any other
At Sukkertoppen, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a seemingly safe and inviting atmosphere. Sounds tempting? Just wait until you step inside. Because once you've been lured into the sweet life, there's no guarantee you'll make it out alive. Your willpower, worldview and faith in humanity will all be put to the test. What begins as a pleasant stay may quickly turn into something entirely different.

The sweet life comes at a price
Sukkertoppen isn't content with simply offering care and comfortable surroundings. The retirement home also takes a keen interest in its residents' personal finances, tempting them with additional services that promise an almost numbing experience. With dark humour and unexpected twists, the performance invites audiences into a retirement home where nothing is quite as it seems.

Date and venue
The performance takes place on Saturday 23 January 2027 at 3:00 PM at Papirhuset Theatre in Tønsberg. Sit back, relax and enjoy your final days, as they say at Sukkertoppen.
