Making it an ideal spot for a break or an overnight stay. Plenty of space for hammocks and tents.
Eidsfoss is an excellent starting point for paddling on Lake Eikern, known for its crystal-clear drinking water, lush surroundings and numerous campsites. In good weather, you can enjoy a day trip or spend the night on one of the islands or at Sandvik, where you'll find three shelters, a sandy beach and woodland.
When strong northerly winds make conditions challenging on Lake Eikern, Lake Bergsvannet offers a more sheltered alternative. The lake is also popular for fishing, with good chances of catching perch and pike. Bjørkøya is an ideal destination for a day trip or an overnight stay in a hammock.
